Partner in the Mission & Vision
Volunteers are the heartbeat of DH517. We are so appreciative of those who sacrificially serve others through DH for God’s glory. We strive to equip our volunteers for the area they are serving. Volunteer training is offered by appointment, please contact info@discoverhope517.com to schedule your orientation. We suggest to anyone interested in volunteering at DH to join us on a Tuesday night for dinner and a lesson. Or stop by the community center during the day to fill out a volunteer application, visit with current volunteers and get a feel for the ministry. Come join the DH517 family and be an instrument of change for our community!

Navigator/Mentor
Interested in walking alongside someone who is new in their faith or sobriety and/or recovery?
Join us for training to become a Navigator or Mentor!
Please contact the ministry for the next Training class!
Navigators have successfully gone through their own recovery and are skilled at helping others in their transformation process through our New Life program. They are trained and equipped with the necessary skills and tools to assist those they are assigned to support on their journey.
Navigator

Spiritual mentors are individuals grounded in the Christian faith. Our mentors are introduced during the later phase of the New Life program, which is designed to transition the recoveree to a faith community for support and growth in their faith journey.
